Background and Experience

Hello, my name is Maria Garcia Marten-Ellis. I am a photographer in the Middle Tennessee area.

I was given my first film camera around the age of 9, then went to polaroid which then was digital Since then, I have been photographing everything from family, friends, flowers to Nature and wildlife.

I have just recently entered the world of portraits, which I am enjoying very much.

I graduated in Sept 2020 with an associate's degree in Photography from IpHotography School in the UK, which was all done online. Studying photography helped me grow my passion and skills. I have been taking photos professionally for almost three years.

I love to shoot nature photography, particularly close-ups of animals, and flowers

. I’m very passionate about working with dogs, as I volunteer some of my time to the rescue groups to get them adopted by taking their photographing and writing a small bio on them. some of my work has been featured in galleries like the Milan art gallery in Milan, Italy, Shutterbug, and magazines. 

Since getting my degree I have discovered a love for covering new adventures. These adventures in life let me capture special moments that my clients love.

Portrait photography has been my most recent project, ranging from baby/Toddler to family portraits. I will eventually branch out to baby delivery photography as well.
